The passing of Victoria Claire Burkett, lovingly known as Tori, at the age of 23 is a profound loss to her family, friends, colleagues, and the many people whose lives she touched. Tori passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of faith, leadership, friendship, service, and love.

Born on October 9, 2002, and raised in Friendswood, Texas, Tori was deeply devoted to her family and treasured the relationships she built throughout her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, fiancé, friend, and colleague whose warmth and generosity made others feel valued and included.

Tori was an accomplished Texas A&M University graduate, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the Mays Business School in 2025. She continued her education through a Master of Science in Human Resource Management, reflecting her passion for helping people and creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Her professional career in Human Resources at EOG Resources was already flourishing. Her colleagues benefited from the same qualities that defined her personal life: compassion, communication, organization, leadership, and an extraordinary ability to connect with people.

Her commitment to leadership was especially evident during her years at Texas A&M. As President of the Zeta Tau Alpha Theta Gamma Chapter, she led more than 300 women and participated in numerous university organizations. In 2025, she received the Buck Weirus Spirit Award, recognizing her exceptional involvement, leadership, and dedication to the Aggie community.

Beyond her accomplishments, Tori will be remembered most for the love she gave so freely. She was described as a loyal and extraordinary friend who brought laughter, encouragement, and joy to those around her. Her engagement to Jake Kieffer represented another cherished chapter in a life filled with love and meaningful relationships.

Her Christian faith remained central to her life, providing strength and purpose. Her favorite verse, Isaiah 41:10, offers comfort to those mourning her loss.

Tori’s memory will endure through her family, friends, colleagues, Aggie community, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her kindness, leadership, and love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Our deepest condolences go to Tori’s parents, siblings, fiancé, extended family, friends, colleagues, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss. May the memories of her remarkable life bring comfort and strength during this difficult time.
